First Welsh Junior League fixture

Brecon AC juniors will be attending the first Welsh Junior League fixture (South and East) in an exciting new format for 2023, on Saturday 20 May at Cardiff International Sports Campus.

Clubs competing on the day include Aberdare VAAC, Barry Vale Harriers, Brecon AC, Rhondda AC, Rhymney Valley AC, Pontyclun AC, Cardiff Athletics, Cardiff Archers, Blaenau Gwent AC, Hereford & County and Cwmbran Harriers.

Events taking place, by age group, are:

• U11B & U11G - 75m, 600m, LJ, SP, 4X100

• U13B & U13G - 100m, 800m, 1kw, LJ, DT, JT, 4x100

• U15B & U15G - 100m, 200m, 800m, 1kw, HJ, SP, JT, 4x100

• U13 & U15 athletes can only do 800m or 1k walk not both

• Relay teams will be submitted by team managers on the day. This year we can combine with other clubs to make composite teams, so more of the children have a chance to race.
